Injury management is a key component of strength and conditioning training. Kinetic Three Sixty will use expertise in this area to effectively identify and develop specific interventions which support the following:Injured Athlete

  • Prepare you to return to higher intensity training, competition or lifestyle
  • Reduce the risk of recurrent or repeat injury in the same or different anatomical locations
  • Tackle the aches and pains before they lead to a more serious injury

arrowInjury Prevention

In sport, remaining injury free is invaluable.  At Kinetic Three Sixty we work hard to ensure our clients and athletes have the lowest risk of injury possible.

Through our prehabilitation and performance training programmes we successfully implement proven performance enhancement and injury prevention techniques to ensure those supported by us are able to consistently train and compete.

arrowLate Stage Rehabilitation

Training your body to become structurally more balanced, stable and stronger will decrease your risk of injury and reduce associated pain and instabilityOur injury management techniques are highly effective in supporting individuals in late stage rehabilitation i.e. physiotherapy, who are looking to return to higher intensity training with a decreased risk of future injury.

Physiotherapists are specialists in providing effective rehabilitation to aid recovery of an injury. Whilst pain and discomfort may have subsided the body may not be completely ready to perform the dynamic and powerful movements required in sport.

Strength and conditioning professionals Kinetic Three Sixty, will implement a specific corrective exercise and performance enhancement programme to compliment the rehabilitation prescribed by your physiotherapist.

As a result your future risk of injury will be decreased and you will return from injury even better equipped to perform.

arrow  Recurrent Injury

Athletes and active people can often find themselves suffering from injury after injury. Not only is the pain and discomfort unpleasant, not being able to train or compete makes a recurrent injury all the more frustrating.

It may be that you suffer from a re-current injury or an on-going feeling of pain and instability in a certain anatomical location. Alternatively it could be multiple consecutive injuries around different joints.

Through our prehabilitation programmes Kinetic Three Sixty not only consider what is injured, but more importantly, why is it injured. All of the muscles and connective tissue in the body is linked and therefore tight muscles causing dysfunctions in one joint could easily affect and cause injury in another.

As an example, ankle sprains cause weakness in the glutes which could therefore result in instability at the knee. The body’s response to injury is the cumulative injury cycle and unless broken by a specific and effective rehabilitation programme the future risk of injury remains high.
